This full-day seminar is targeted at translators and interpreters, currently working in the legal field, who are seeking advanced-level continuing education.

Gain insight from successful translators and interpreters in the legal field—a federally and state certified court interpreter, a full-time staff interpreter for the U.S. District Courts in Puerto Rico, and an in-house senior legal translator with Juris Doctor and Legal Translation degrees. Take part in an open discussion to explore the legalese of contract clauses. Discover if all those acronyms really mean what you think they mean. Understand the obscure language of the law and learn ways to translate and interpret it more effectively and efficiently.
